MECHANICAL DESIGNER

JOB
Summary: Work independently on development of original designs and adaptations. Design and redesign components, products, and fixtures. Prepare layouts, detailed drawings, and specifications. Work with a diversified range of products with mid-level design complications and requirements. Integral component of product development, engineering, testing, training, performance, and support.

DUTIES &
Responsibilities: May be required to oversee projects to ensure activities are carried out in accordance with established specifications, schedules, and budgets; meet with team members on regular basis to review future actions. Compliment the development and implementation of engineering test plans for a particular product or problem area in accordance with established specifications, schedule, and budgets. Support production through engineering.
Specifically:
Responsible for CAD/CAM models, drawings, design and maintenance.
Assist with design, layout, detailing, BOM.
Identify and maintain appropriate policies and procedures for department in areas of CAD, CA, ECN and BOM followthrough.
Prepare or assist in preparing engineering computations, product cost estimates and design documentation.
Develop designs as assigned.
Oversee and/ or assist in the design and development of tools and processes for more efficient manufacturing methods.
Create Corrective Actions for issues found while evaluating equipment reliability and performance; assist in exploringalternative solutions and resolving product design and/or manufacturing issues.
Improve manufacturing efficiencies, product design, and improvements to both with customer experience in mind.
Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.

EDUCATION &
Experience:
1.Minimum of a two (2) year technical degree in an engineering related field.
2.Minimum of four (4) years experience with computer software and hardware including Computer Aided Design,spreadsheets, word processing.
3.Minimum of four (4) years practical experience in design work; bachelor s degree in related field in lieu of experienceconsidered.
4.Hands-on experience in first level troubleshooting of electrical and hydraulics preferred; familiarity with a variety ofmanufacturing processes and materials used/ prior experience in manufacturing environment a plus.
5.Possess excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and proactive communication skills; with strong floor presence andability to interact with team and customers in various positions and settings.
6.Self-motivated with ability to take initiative to work independently or in small teams.
7.Maintain positive working relationships with McFarlane personnel, dealers, and key end-users.
8.Ability to accept accountability for both assigned outcome-based projects and defined goals/ objectives across multipleMcFarlane Mfg. Co. departments.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS: Must wear proper PPE while on the production floor. Regularly required to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, talk and hear. Close, peripheral and distance vision required. Utilize standard office equipment, computer keyboard and monitor, cell phone. May be required to lift 50 lbs. Demonstrates accountability for all safety procedures, leading by example. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
